Program Manager (Austin, TX)
Job Description
Program Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse mix of initiatives primarily focused on launching and sustaining world-class Wi-Fi product certification programs. He/she will work with the best technical and marketing talent in Wi-Fi Alliance member companies, driving industry-visible efforts that support the mission of establishing Wi-Fi technology as the center of seamless connectivity.

He/she thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup atmosphere, leveraging limited resources and independently juggling many challenges and priorities while providing exemplary customer service to a rapidly-growing industry.
Duties
- Working in a complex team environment, share sustaining responsibilities for a world-class product certification business
- Coordinate development of Wi-Fi Alliance certification programs
- Manage program development communications with Wi-Fi Alliance staff, board and members
- Establish cohesion among member companies to achieve program goals
- Provide assistance for certification customers and partners
- Analyze and coordinate certification requests
- Analyze and report Wi-Fi product certification data
- Maintenance and evolution of certification policies and processes
- Administer technical projects focused on deployment of new Wi-Fi certification programs
- Support international membership needs in a timely manner
- Some travel (<= 10%) will be required – domestic and international
Qualifications
- Four year technical degree in a related field of technology
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Highly proficient with MS-Office and web applications
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with demonstrated proficiency addressing international audiences
- Demonstrated aptitude for deeper learning in technical areas
- Proven success working in dispersed, cross functional, and international (time-shifted) teams
- Technical experience with Wi-Fi or other hardware products is a plus
- Positive track record in successful relationships with customers and vendors
Compensation
- This is a full time position with salary commensurate with education, credentials and experience.
- The position is located in Austin, TX with no relocation provided.
