Senior Software Engineer

Leading development of embedded applications and tools for a fully automated, open-source test platform for certifying interoperability/performance of Wi-Fi (802.11)-enabled devices such as mobile phones, laptops, wireless infrastructure and other consumer applications, applying knowledge of 802.11 technology, C/C++ in Linux and/or Windows environments and TCP/IP socket and thread programming; interacting regularly with Wi-Fi Alliance member company representatives through delivery of training and collaborative support; performing testing, applying knowledge of writing applications and device drivers for serial bus architectures, and general networking technologies (stacks, routing, switching, NAT, QoS, etc.); and performing testing, applying knowledge of the configuration and operation of basic networking hardware, Python script programming and Agile-oriented environment.

Position with Wi-Fi Alliance in Santa Clara, CA. Must have M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computers Science or related field + 36 months experience, or B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field + 60 months experience.
