Wi-Fi Alliance is hosting an Interoperability Event for device vendors focused on MAC/PHY interoperability. This event will include interoperability with Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6.
Members will be able to thoroughly evaluate connectivity, including association and authentication across multiple platforms and multiple generations of Wi-Fi. This event will show members how their devices are likely to work in customer networks and provide the data necessary to make product improvements. Members are encouraged to bring both new and legacy devices, including those that are not Wi-Fi CERTIFIED.
There will be no pass/fail criteria or performance benchmarking. Device-specific details will not be collected, however protocol issues or potential testing gaps will be collected, analyzed, and discussed with respective TGs.
