Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ TDLS devices implement technology enabling them to link directly to one antother when connected to a traditional Wi-Fi network.  Wi-Fi CERTIFIED TDLS devices can set up secure links and transfer data directly between them.  TDLS-linked devices benefit from an optimized connection to do things such as streaming video or synching systems, without burdening the network as a whole.

Two TDLS devices automatically use their highest common performance and security features, regardless of hte feature level supported by teh network.  TVs, smartphones, cameras, printers, PCs, projectors, and gaming devices, for example, can connect directly to each other to transfer content and share applications quickly and easily.
