Global Wi-Fi Summit in China to Include Wi-Fi Technical Training Course

As part of the Global Wi-Fi Summit in China2007, the Wi-Fi Alliance® will offer a technical training course onWi-Fi technology and the industry's only certification programs. The coursewill cover a variety of topics, including wireless LAN standards and securityprotocols, Wi-Fi applications and markets, and the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ programoffered by the Wi-Fi Alliance.

Throughcomprehensive testing, the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED program leads to improveduser-experience by helping to ensure that Wi-Fi products from differentmanufacturers work together.

Global Wi-Fi Summit in China 2007

China is very important to the Wi-Fi industrydue to increasing adoption of the technology in Chinese homes and businesses,as well as the key role that Chinese firms play in the development of Wi-Fi equipmentand services. The size of the Chinamarket for networking equipment is expected to exceed RMB10.3 billion next year(source: Wi-Fi Alliance/Analysys International).
