by
The Beacon

Each quarter, Wi-Fi Alliance® highlights companies driving technology innovation by introducing new Wi-Fi 6E products into the market

Since Wi-Fi Alliance® announced Wi-Fi 6E certification, extending Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6™ into 6 GHz, several Wi-Fi 6E chipsets and products have been announced. Wi-Fi 6E devices leverage the unique benefits of 6 GHz spectrum to deliver higher data rates, increased capacity, excellent performance in dense environments, and improved power efficiency. Additionally, Wi-Fi 6E provides four times more capacity than Wi-Fi in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, utilizing up to seven superwide 160 MHz channels for blazing speeds, as well as the lowest possible latency.

Wi-Fi 6E devices bring the immense benefits of 6 GHz spectrum into users’ hands as the band is made available around the world. Saudi Arabia announced it would make 6 GHz available for unlicensed use, joining countries including Brazil, Chile, the European Union, Guatemala, Honduras, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States in opening new spectrum that will enable Wi-Fi 6E to deliver significant socioeconomic benefits. Wi-Fi 6E devices and chipsets have already entered the market from vendors including ASUS, Broadcom, Infineon, Intel®, LG Innotek, Linksys, Maxlinear, MediaTek, Netgear, ON Semiconductor, Qualcomm, Qorvo, Samsung, and TP-Link, and we expect the momentum will only continue.

Here we highlight some of the latest Wi-Fi 6E devices that are unleashing the benefits of 6 GHz for consumers and businesses around the world.
