Wi-Fi Alliance® commends Canada’s 6 GHz decision

Austin, Texas and Washington, D.C. – May 19, 2021 – Wi-Fi Alliance® commends Canada's Innovation, Science, and Economic Development (ISED) decision to expand license-exempt operations in the 5.925-7.125 GHz frequency band. With this decision, ISED created opportunities for all Canadian consumers, businesses, and innovators to benefit from expanded wireless connectivity delivered by the latest generation of affordable Wi-Fi®Wi-Fi 6E – to every region of Canada.
