Wi-Fi Alliance® statement on U.S. court of appeals for the D.C. circuit decision

December 28, 2021 – Austin, TX and Washington, D.C. – Wi-Fi Alliance® welcomes the decision by the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals to generally uphold the FCC 6 GHz Order. This is an important victory for America’s technological leadership, economy and most importantly, consumers who rely on Wi-Fi® connectivity now more than ever. Today’s court decision removes the regulatory uncertainty surrounding use of the 6 GHz band, allowing Wi-Fi Alliance and our members to expedite delivery of urgently needed Wi-Fi 6E broadband connectivity solutions.
